All 3 All Night Long movies...............
All Night Long Part 1 : There might be hope for cult horror fans if Japan keeps making movies like "All Night Long." The tale of three high-school outcasts (the brainy geek, the aspiring pilot, and 'the guy with the car') who go after a savage gang of thugs after one of their girlfriends is raped and murdered is as lean and mean as classic revenge pics like "I Spit on Your Grave" and "House on the Edge of the Park." If the movie moves slow at times, it's with the good intention of developing the characters, which makes the violence of the last act more unsettling and personal.
All Night Long Part 2, Atrocity : Life s meaningless. So you might as well break up the monotony with torture and death. A geeky student is bullied by a group of sicko teens. They teach him the joys of torture. He begins to see the light. Abusing people is a lot of fun.
"All Night Long 2" is for advanced sickos only. The casual fan is not going to like it. It's a very serious look at debased humanity. It takes a standard torture plot and goes all the way with it. The ending is nice and nasty.
All Night Long Part 3, The Final Chapter : The final part of the All Night Long trilogy is extremely hard to watchit tries to provocate its viewers constantly. The film conveys the message that human existence is meaningless and it does so in an extremelely ruthless manner. The story revolves around the life of a high school kid who develops an unhealthy obsession for a girl from his neighbourhood.
